We love the polka red shoes!

The picture above (aww, it's blurred) is an evidence of a once in a lifetime moment with the polka red shoes of our most loved professor. We always request her to wear that again because gets our attention. But sadly, she got conscious about that and told us that she will not wear it again.

SCL 3 Assignment

Assignment for SCL 3: The Social Teachings of the Church (to be passed on Tuesday, September 02, 2008)

  • If you have a helper at home, interview the helper about his/her salary, and benefits and privileges. Also ask your parent the same questions above (how much the helper's salary is, and his/her benefits and privileges). Then, "it is up to you to interpret the results." (Digal, 2008)
    • NOTE: Do not tell your helper that you are also asking your parent about what you are asking him/her, and vice versa.
  • If you do not have a helper at home, find one, and ask the same questions above.
The assignment should be computerized, and as much as possible, only one or two pages.

Out of Frustration

One of our requirements is to conduct 2 seminars and collect 10 certificates from different seminars. At first, we thought it is an easy task, but as days go by, and as our topics are REJECTED, we realized that this it is very hard especially for me, since I'm the one who take charge on this task.
It is not easy to find a good topic. It is also hard to find a speaker. So, out of frustration (since our seminar adviser wants a topic that is not covered in our curriculum), I created this one:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3 ITB SEMINAR

Topic:
POULTRY FARM

Topic Description:
Poultry farming is raising chickens, turkeys, ducks and other fowl for meat or eggs. Poultry farms can be breeding farms where they raise poultry for meat, or layer farms where they produce eggs.
Today, poultry raising is big business. Each step is done by someone who knows what they are doing. Just like the dairy farmer we visited, the breeder wants to get the best chicken he can. 'Best’ might mean a meatier chicken, one with less or more fat, or one that lays more eggs or eggs more often. The breeder might hire veterinarians or scientists to help him choose the characteristics he wants in his chickens. Breeders are known for their special kinds of chickens and no one is allowed to copy them.

Speaker:
Mr. Ronald Mcdonald

this is only a joke...

IT 102L Preliminary Examination

Tomorrow will be our preliminary examination in IT 102L (Logic Circuits with Digital Logic Design Laboratory). This will be the second-to-the-last preliminary examination of our section.

The examination is written, and answerable for 3 hours (I suppose), but can be done in less than an hour (according to our teacher). Topics to be studied are the experiments we have done in the laboratory.

Good luck to everyone!

Theme Songs for Our Professors ;)

Lei and Jemade have been discussing about our professors lately. Because of our endless projects and other activities, we (I and lei) have made some of the famous songs as our theme songs for our dearly beloved professors:D

~MIGRAINE by Moonstar88
For Sir Lintag. Because he's unsure with his lectures and is frequently dumb-founded in the middle of the lessons, we've decided to make this song as our theme song for him especially the chorus: "Nahihilo, nalilito, Asan ba ko sayo? Aasa ba ko sayo?"

~SHUT UP by Black Eyed Peas
For Mam Afurong connected to her famous line "Guys...Shut up."

~SEXYBACK by Justin Timberlake
For Mam Anne Mitch. What more can I say? The title describes her.

~KABA by some OPM singer during the late 90's
For Mam Narciso, we revised the lyrics on the chorus but it still fits Mam Narciso even if we don't revise it;)

~Alphabet song
For Sir Santosh. With "hetch" replacing 'H'

Do we make sense??:D
